Toddler Story Hour
Friends of Adaire invites preschool-age kids and their caregivers to participate in its weekly, themed story-and-crafts Toddler Story Hour in the library at Alexander Adaire K-8 School, 1300 E. Boy Scout Troop 120 will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. John Cantius Hall, 4415 Almond St. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 3 to 12 and children under 3 are free. FNA zoning meeting
FNA will hold a zoning meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. at Fishtown Recreation Center, 1202 E. Food pantry morning hours change
St. Michael’s Church, Trenton Avenue and Cumberland Street, will change the hours of the weekly food pantry distributions effective Thursday, March 2. Distribution hours are from 11 a.m. to noon. Applications will be available online at orinokacivichouse.com and at NKCDC, 2515 Frankford Ave., beginning Monday, Jan. 23. To be considered, all applications must be mailed to Orinoka Civic House, P.O. Box 29275, Philadelphia, PA 19125. NKCDC will not accept applications dropped off at its offices. Applications submitted before Feb. 24 will be selected by lottery. Any applications submitted after Feb. 24 will be placed on a waiting list. The lottery will be held March 2. PVVM memorial markers
The deadline for spring orders for the 12 x 12 granite pavers has been changed to March 31. The $350 donation made payable to (PVVM) Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Front and Spruce streets, is used to maintain the site which honors the 648 Philadelphians who died during the Vietnam War. Appropriate personalization that honors any Veteran’s service includes four lines of text with 21 units per line.
